As a company we are proud of our approach of keeping a lean infrastructure and complimenting in-house skills with those of freelance consultants. This approach enables us to quickly assemble teams of professionals with the skills needed to realise a client’s project and reduces our costs and consequently the fees we charge our clients.

To ensure we are able to draw from as wide a skill base as possible we are always on the look-out for freelance web, database and research professionals to augment the skills of in-house staff on particular projects. This is especially the case for:

• Web-designers with good HTML / XHTML and CSS skills;
• Flash Developers;
• Programmers with a high level of skills in any of the following:
• asp
• php
• jsp
• java
• xml
• sql
• visual basic and visual basic for applications
• Database Developers and Administrators especially those with expertise in SQL Server or MySQL.

If you are interested in working as a freelance contractor with us then send us an email to freelancers@maccsltd.com containing the following information:

• A short summary of your core skills.
• Your CV including contact details for 2 referees.
• Examples of your work. This might include any of the following:
• urls of websites you have designed or worked on;
• sample code you have developed;
• databases you have designed or developed;
• research reports you have written or contributed to; and
• questionnaires you have written or contributed to.
• Your expected hourly rate of pay.

We also work in collaboration with other companies on a partnership basis, for example we have worked with Dreyfus Training and Development providing research and database development input on a number of projects.
